A Pega BA with 10+ years' experience in PEGA KYC & CLM (Client Lifecycle Management bridging business & tech, focusing on Pega solution design, process modeling, leading discovery workshops, defining case structures, user stories, and mentoring teams, ensuring alignment with Pega best practices and driving digital transformation. They translate complex needs into functional designs, manage UAT, and act as a key liaison between stakeholders and developers for enterprise-level Pega implementations, often requiring certifications like CPBA/LBA

Responsibilities
• Client onboarding
• Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance
• Anti Money Laundering (AML) checks
• Ongoing due diligence (ODD)
• Periodic reviews and remediation
• Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into functional Pega solution designs.
• Lead requirements workshops and discovery sessions (e.g., JAD/DCO), producing artifacts such as BRDs, FRDs, process flows, use case diagrams, wireframes, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Analyze "As Is” and develop "To Be” business process models, conducting gap analysis to identify areas of improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Pega developers, system architects, testers, and QA to configure and validate Pega rules, flows, UI, integration points, and decision logic.
• Ensure the solution adheres to Pegasystems best practices and methodology—actively drive adoption of Pega frameworks.
• Guide UAT testing, review functional and system test plans, and support defect management.
• Mentor and train junior Client and business stakeholders on Pega functionalities and business process capabilities.
• Support sales and pre-sales teams by creating solution concepts, proposals, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Provide ongoing support for deployments and post-implementation enhancements, including production reviews and improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 10+ years in IT business analysis or architecture roles, with at least 6 years specifically in Pega Business Architect capacity.
• Certified Pega Business Architect (CPBA/PCBA), with exposure to Pega versions 7.x/8.x+.
• Strong process analysis skills: BPMN, UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence), user story creation, wireframes using tools like Visio or Confluence.
• Deep knowledge of Pega App Studio, case types, decision rules, data types, flow structures, UI elements, service integrations, and API use.
• Experience conducting gap analysis, functional testing, UAT coordination, and documenting test cases.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and mentoring skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology—sprints, stand-ups, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives.
• Preferred: domain experience (banking, insurance, healthcare) and certifications like CBAP, CSM, or CSPO.
