Senior Solution Architect
The Senior Solution Architect is a strategic technical leader responsible for the structural integrity and long-term viability of IT solutions. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective high-level designs (HLD) that align with the global technology roadmap.
Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Solution Design: Architect comprehensive solutions covering Business Processes, Data, Applications, and Security, ensuring full alignment with Shell’s reference standards.

Architectural Accountability: Serve as the designated authority for all technical aspects of a project, maintaining accountability to the Project Manager from initial concept to deployment.

Technical Governance: Use Bizzdesign to document and maintain conceptual and logical models, ensuring all designs follow the Architecture Review processes.

Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and review the work of detailed designers and business analysts, ensuring the technical execution matches the architectural vision.

Strategic Advisory: Act as an ambassador for the architecture community, interacting with stakeholders to drive strategic improvements and ensure "future-proof" technology adoption.
Detailed Experience & Requirements

Career Trajectory: 7 to 10 years of overall IT experience, with a clear progression into leadership or advisory roles.

Solution Architecture Core: Minimum of 4+ years specifically focused on Solution Architecture, including hands-on experience designing integrated ecosystems (not just single applications).

Domain Expertise: Highly preferred experience in Legal and Corporate Relations portfolios (Ethics & Compliance, Data Privacy, Matter Management, or Digital Content Management).

Technical Proficiency:

Cloud & Infrastructure: Deep expertise in Azure, Cloud Native architectures, and foundational hyperscalers.

Integration: Advanced knowledge of API-based integration and Data Platforms.

SaaS Delivery: Proven experience in SaaS selection, evaluation, and large-scale deployment.

Education & Certification: 4-year degree in IT or related field. TOGAF certification and Archimate proficiency are strongly preferred.
