Architect I - SAP ABAP S/4HANA | OData | CDS | IDOC

About The Job:

• We are looking for a highly experienced SAP ABAP on HANA Technical Consultant or Architect with 10+ years of SAP technical expertise.
• Experience across Core ABAP, S/4HANA development, SAP BTP, and SAP innovation technologies.
• Role requires strong architecture and hands-on development capabilities.
• Experience delivering complex SAP implementations and driving innovation initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical leads, architects, functional teams, and business stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead end-to-end SAP technical solution delivery including development, enhancements, integrations, and support.
• Design and develop scalable SAP solutions using ABAP on HANA and S/4HANA.
• Drive innovation initiatives using SAP BTP and AI-aligned technologies.
• Collaborate with architects and functional teams to build applications and integrations.
• Optimize development processes and engineering efficiency.
• Provide architectural guidance to customer technical leadership.
• Support integration scenarios involving APIs, middleware, and external systems.
• Ensure SAP best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
• Participate in technical design, estimation, troubleshooting, and production support.

Qualifications:
Must Have Skills and Experience.

• 10+ years of SAP technical experience including Core ABAP, ABAP on HANA, and S/4HANA programming.
• Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver fundamentals.
• Experience with SAP UI5, Fiori, IDocs, Interfaces, OOPS ABAP, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework.
• Experience with SAP HANA technologies including CDS Views, OData Services, AMDP, and Code-to-Data paradigm.
• Understanding of SAP BTP and web services including SOAP and REST.
• Experience in full-cycle SAP implementations and integration projects.
• Strong problem-solving and architectural skills.
• Understanding of business processes including Order Management, Billing, and Invoicing.
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience with SAP BRIM and SAP Hybris or SAP Commerce.
• Knowledge of SAP AI or Generative AI capabilities with SAP BTP.
• Experience with DevOps, CI CD pipelines, and automation.
• Exposure to SAP RAP model and cloud-native SAP extensions.
• SAP certifications in S/4HANA, BTP, or ABAP on HANA.
