Job Description

Head of Engineering (Aerospace) | MSA Global Technology & Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Location: Bangalore, India | Full-Time | Aerospace & Defence Precision Manufacturing

We are hiring a Head of Engineering to lead our precision machining and manufacturing engineering function at MSA's facility in Bangalore. This is a senior role sitting at the intersection of deep aerospace technical expertise and team leadership — owning everything from process engineering and NPI through to Aerospace (Boeing) compliance and continuous improvement.

If you have spent your career in aerospace precision machining and know the Boeing supply chain from the inside, we would like to talk.

The Role

You will be MSA's primary technical authority on the shop floor, the person Customers SQRs interface with, the person who signs off FAI packages, and the person who builds the engineering systems that underpin our AS9100/NADCAP compliance. You will also mentor and grow an engineering team as we scale.

What You Will Own

  • Day-to-day engineering operations across CNC machining, fabrication, and assembly of aerospace components
  • Boeing supply chain compliance — D1-9000, D6-51991, BAC specs, AS9100 Rev D
  • Process engineering for tight-tolerance machining in aluminium, titanium, Inconel, and composites
  • Engineering documentation — work instructions, GD&T drawings, BOMs, change orders
  • Lean and Six Sigma-led continuous improvement targeting OTD, first-pass yield, and cost efficiency
  • NPI, tooling qualification, and FAI per AS9102
  • Interface with Boeing SQRs during audits, source inspections, and programme reviews
  • Mentoring and developing your engineering and technical team

What We Are Looking For

  • 8 to 12 years in aerospace manufacturing with a strong precision CNC machining background
  • Direct Boeing supply chain experience — Tier 1 or Tier 2, with flying parts (mandatory)
  • Proficiency with Boeing drawings, GD&T, and technical data packages
  • Hands-on 3/4/5-axis CNC experience; CAM programming in Mastercam, NX, or similar
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 Rev D, NADCAP processes, and FAI per AS9102
  • Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent

Preferred: Six Sigma Green or Black Belt | Prior engineering manager or deputy role | ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
