Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Consultant to serve as the SAP Transportation Management (TM) Workstream Lead for an ongoing supply chain transformation initiative. This role will lead the SAP TM functional workstream, driving solution design, testing, stakeholder alignment, and day-to-day coordination across business and project teams.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in SAP TM process design, transportation planning and execution, workstream leadership, testing oversight, and cross-functional stakeholder management. This person should be comfortable owning deliverables, managing risks/issues, and ensuring the SAP TM track progresses on time and with quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the SAP TM workstream across design, build, testing, and deployment support activities
Drive functional design for SAP TM processes, including requirements clarification, solution alignment, and process decisions
Support design and configuration across key SAP TM capabilities such as transportation planning, carrier selection/tendering, freight order management, charge management, and freight settlement
Coordinate with business stakeholders, integration teams, and technical teams to manage dependencies and resolve issues
Collaborate across adjacent workstreams including logistics, warehouse, order management, and finance to ensure end-to-end process alignment
Oversee SIT/UAT planning and execution for the SAP TM workstream, including test case review, defect triage, and business readiness support
Manage workstream status, action items, risks, issues, and decisions
Facilitate client and internal team discussions, providing clear updates and escalation where needed
Ensure project documentation, traceability, and deliverables are completed to expected quality standards
Support change impacts, process adoption, cutover readiness, and transition activities as applicable
Required Skills / Experience:
Strong experience in SAP TM functional processes and solution delivery
Experience leading a functional workstream or owning a major process track within a transformation program
Strong functional design and requirements translation capability
Experience supporting and coordinating SIT/UAT activities
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and issue resolution skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment
Experience working across business and IT teams to drive design decisions and resolve integration dependencies
Preferred Profile:
Senior Consultant-level professional with prior SAP TM-enabled supply chain transformation experience
Experience with SAP S/4HANA TM and integration with related SAP modules/workstreams
Experience leading workshops, driving decisions, and coordinating across business and IT teams
Strong organizational skills, structured problem solving, and delivery ownership
Ability to operate with limited oversight while escalating appropriately
