Job Description

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development and AI-powered capabilities using Now Assist. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and other modules while leveraging GenAI features to enhance user experience, automation, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform using server-side and client-side scripting.
  • Configure and implement ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, HAM, or ITOM.
  • Work on ServiceNow Now Assist capabilities including:
    • AI Search
    • Virtual Agent integration
    • Incident summarization
    • Knowledge article generation
    • Resolution recommendations
    • Generative AI-powered workflows
  • Create and maintain:
    • Business Rules
    • Script Includes
    • Client Scripts
    • UI Policies
    • Flow Designer flows
    • IntegrationHub actions
  • Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server.
  • Customize Service Portal / Employee Center components and widgets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and business analysts to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities following ServiceNow best practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize platform performance.
  • Maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in ServiceNow development and scripting.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and Flow Designer.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Now Assist / Generative AI features.
  • Experience with Virtual Agent and AI Search configuration.
  • Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and integrations.
  • Experience in Service Portal or Employee Center customization.
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in HAM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM modules.
  • Exposure to IntegrationHub and Automation Engine.
  • Understanding of AI governance and prompt engineering within ServiceNow.
  • ServiceNow CSA/CAD certification preferred.
  • Now Assist implementation experience is an added advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Relevant ServiceNow certifications preferred.
