Job Title: Assistant (Academic Administration)

Job Summary

The Assistant will provide efficient academic, administrative, and coordination support to ensure smooth operational workflows, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with university and regulatory requirements, while supporting faculty, staff, and students.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations across academics.
  • Coordinate with faculty, staff, and students for administrative and academic requirements
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of reports, MIS, and documentation for audits and regulatory submissions (NAAC, AICTE, NIRF, etc.)
  • Facilitate admission process, including scheduling, verification, and coordination
  • Manage communication, records, and data with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Provide timely support in general administration and departmental coordination

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree from a statutory university

Professional Certifications

  • Any relevant certification in office administration or academic management is desirable but not mandatory

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in academic administration, admissions.
  • Prior experience in a similar administrative or coordination role is preferred

Skills and Competencies

  • Hands-on expertise in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of Oracle and SAP is preferred
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities with high attention to detail
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with academic administration process, and regulatory compliance
