Backend 6-8 yrs
- Experience in design and development of highly -scalable applications and platform development in product-based companies or R&D divisions.
- 6+ years total experience in developing Enterprise applications using Java, Spring-boot, REST, Kafka, Spark, Microservices, Cassandra, Solr, Databases, Splunk, Caching, Messaging and SOA
- Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
- Expert level knowledge in Java with multithreading concepts , Implemented Clean Code principles, Junits, Understands performance and Automation aspects of coding to develop high performing services.
- Experience working with distributed systems and teams and Awareness of Agile (Scrum) methodologies
- Development experience with Cloud frameworks like Microsoft Azure, GCP
- Working knowledge of Linux platform, SQL, NoSQL and database technologies
- CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps
- Demonstrated ownership for the development and design of a few modules/features in a product.
- Hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, willingness to learn new and emerging technologies.
- Must be able to work effectively both on teams as well as be self-motivated, task oriented and organized.
- Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills - including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills; ability to influence and persuade, without direct control.
- Participating in code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions.
- Being responsible for Scaling, Performance & Quality for the team.
- Strong customer focus and obsession with quality.
