Responsible for delivering concept design, layout making, benchmarking, master sections, ABC class of surface, packaging study, fixing concepts Responsible for delivering engineering solutions for both prototype and production parts Managing supplier teams for the delivery of program milestones Optimization of design solutions for weight, cost, manufacturing feasibility, quality and functional attributes Maintaining commodity documentation up to date including meeting minutes, foundation program DFMEAs, DFMDFA, quality history bill of design Ensuring adherence to OEM specific processes and procedures to deliver robust, fully validated geometric compatible commodities Collaborating and communicating commodity status to key stakeholders such as manufacturing, suppliers, component owners and management Axle Heads (CAE, Design - commodity delivery)
