Cognos Developer-Bangalore

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cognos Developer to design, develop, and implement reporting and business intelligence solutions using IBM Cognos Analytics. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and data teams to deliver actionable insights and maintain high-performance reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Cognos reports, dashboards, and cubes using Cognos Analytics (Report Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager).
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain metadata models using Cognos Framework Manager.
• Optimize existing reports and queries for performance and usability.
• Troubleshoot report issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Assist in data validation, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reports.
• Ensure reports and dashboards align with data governance and security policies.
• Document technical processes and provide user training when needed.
• Work with data warehouses, ETL processes, and source systems to support reporting needs
