Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data visualization principles, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into data visualization solutions.
Connect to various data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, cloud platforms) and ensure data integrity.
Optimize dashboards for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data structures and pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau dashboards and reports.
Create documentation for dashboard designs, data models, and user guides.
Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau usage and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online.
Proficient in SQL for data querying and transformation.
Strong understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard UX/UI.
Experience with data blending, calculated fields, LOD expressions, and parameters in Tableau.
Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Talend, Informatica) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of other BI tools (Power BI, QlikView) is a plus.
Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist/Certified Associate) is preferred.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
