Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Assistant to support daily laboratory operations at our Bengaluru facility. The ideal candidate will assist in sample handling, equipment maintenance, documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting routine laboratory tests and experiments as per standard protocols

• Prepare, label, and manage samples for testing and storage

• Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and workspaces

• Ensure proper calibration and basic troubleshooting of lab equipment

• Record, document, and maintain accurate test results and reports

• Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and compliance guidelines at all times

• Manage inventory of lab supplies and coordinate replenishment

• Dispose of laboratory waste as per regulatory and safety norms

• Support senior lab staff and technicians in day-to-day activities

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field)

• 0–3 years of experience in a laboratory environment (freshers may apply)

• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment

• Familiarity with safety standards and documentation practices

Skills & Competencies

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good organizational and record-keeping skills

• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures

• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, documentation tools)

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience in clinical, diagnostic, or research laboratories

• Knowledge of NABL/ISO laboratory standards

• Prior experience in sample handling and data recording

Work Environment

• Laboratory-based role with adherence to safety protocols

• May require standing for extended periods and handling lab equipment
