Principal Engineer

Salary range: Rs 6000000 - Rs 7000000 (ie INR 60-70 LPA)

We are looking for a forward-thinking engineering leader to drive an AI-first, cloud-native technology ecosystem with end-to-end ownership across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI-powered solutions while embedding automation, intelligence, and resilience into every stage of delivery. You will be responsible for modernizing engineering practices, establishing robust architectures, and enabling high-performing teams to build enterprise-grade platforms. This position requires a blend of strategic vision and hands-on expertise to deliver innovative, secure, and scalable systems while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the complete SDLC from requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, to operations
• Design and implement AI/ML solutions, including model development, training, deployment, and operationalization
• Establish modern engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and scalable architecture patterns
• Lead the adoption of DevSecOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release automation
• Ensure high-quality engineering through code reviews, testing strategies, and performance optimization
• Build and enhance observability, monitoring, and system reliability practices
• Drive cloud-native development and scalable platform architecture
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology with business goals
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and adoption of emerging technologies

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Strong experience across the full SDLC with a focus on scalable system design
• Proven expertise in AI/ML solution development and deployment
• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms and modern architecture practices (AWS preferred)
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and automation frameworks
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
