Data Modeler
- Role Overview Translate complex, coupled Mainframe DB2 schemas into decoupled, domain-driven models optimized for AWS and Databricks.
- Key Responsibilities
- Analyze shared DB2 schemas to understand table locking, modification patterns, and batch dependencies.
- Design Target State conceptual, logical, and physical data models for the Unified Databricks & MongoDB Lakehouse.
- Design Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1 & 2) for the Persistent Layer.
- Ensure data models support real-time APIs, microservices, and operational reporting.
- Required Skills
- Expertise in dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake) and NoSQL document modeling (MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouse structures like Amazon Redshift.
- Understanding of Mainframe DB2 structures and migration to cloud-native formats.
- AI Augmentation/Vibe Coding knowledge required
