Job Title: SAP Functional Consultant
Location: Remote/ Hybrid
Experience: 7+ years
Job Summary:
This is a lead role in Product Engineering and a consulting role with the Data Engineering Team. This will involve consulting, product development, engineering, and presales activities focused on SAP.
We are seeking an experienced SAP Techno-Functional Consultant with a solid understanding of SAP modules specifically in the Manufacturing and Industrial domain with deep knowledge of Asset Management, Plant Maintenance (PM), Manufacturing Execution (ME), Materials Management (MM), and associated modules.
The ideal candidate will be able to create and sustain SAP environments, define extraction methodologies, productize data connectors, identify relevant modules based on Manufacturing AI use cases, and coach and mentor guide our team in building AI-infused data products around the SAP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Development & Customer Interface
• Build data connectors on IRIS Foundry for the SAP ecosystem.
• Design for various deployment scenarios cloud, hybrid, and on-premise.
• Interface with Symphony AI teams and Customer's SAP team to integrate with IRIS Foundry.
2. SAP Modules and Data Analysis
• Provide expertise in extracting data from SAP modules like Asset Management, Plant Maintenance, Material Management, etc.
• Define extraction methodologies and productize the solution with the Data Engineering team.
3. Data Extraction
• Advise on the specific tables and data structures within SAP modules from which to extract required data.
• Ensure accurate and efficient data extraction processes tailored to the specific version of SAP in use.
• Create data sets for specific use cases on Asset Performance, Maintenance, Work orders, etc.
4. SAP Ecosystem Management
• Set up and configure SAP environments to support data extraction and analysis.
• Ensure that the SAP environment is optimized for performance and usability.
5. Training and Support
• Provide training and support to team members on SAP data extraction techniques and best practices.
• Serve as a resource for troubleshooting and resolving SAP data-related issues on client deployments.
Qualifications:
• Any degree
• SAP techno-functional expertise experience – 7+ years
• Proven experience as an SAP Techno-functional Consultant with expertise in Asset Management, PM, SD, MM, and other relevant modules.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret data accurately.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules, tables, data structures, and extraction methods (APIs, BAPI, RFC, XML, etc.)
• Experience in setting up and configuring SAP environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and client stakeholder management.
• SAP certification(s) in relevant modules is a plus.
