Job Description:
Significant experience in the use of Ab Initio to process, access and move data at
scale
Experience of using cloud based data storage and data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake)
Appreciation of the compliance needs of a highly regulated business and how this can
impact the development of data oriented services and platforms
Experience of leading a team comprised of Engineers with a diverse range of skill sets
focused on data movement and transformation
History of growing engineering teams, supporting their development and enabling
them to be as efficient as possible
Experience of working within an agile environment, using a range of agile
development methodologies to support the delivery of large scale projects
The technical awareness to balance trade-offs against short and long term business
needs to achieve a projects objectives
Experience that would be advantageous:
History of working with Snowflake as a primary Data Warehouse
Experience of working through a significant data migration program, moving data
from Teradata to Snowflake
Experience of working in an highly regulated financial environment
