Responsibilities
- Work as part of a selforganised Ab Initio engineering team to design and develop impactful software features for credit card consumers.
- Align with goals and vision articulated by Product Management and leadership.
- Focus on major portions of existing or new software (components, features, midsize applications/services).
- Drive engineering best practices including Operational Excellence, Security, and Quality across teams.
- Innovate within the team and contribute to technical domain initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering throughout the software development life cycle.
- Complete understanding of the latest Ab Initio technologies and capabilities.
- Ability to resolve requirement queries from product managers and identify gaps to define solutions.
- Handson programming expertise in GDE and Unix scripting languages.
- Advocate for quality practices such as Pair Programming; identify efficiency improvements and eliminate waste.
- Ability to review peer code and provide feedback against standards and best practices.
- Strong estimation skills with ability to justify delivery timelines.
- Awareness of Jenkins pipeline principles.
- Knowledge of Agile practices and collaborative delivery.
Preferred / Advantageous Experience
- Familiarity with AWS interactions and file storage.
- Core understanding of Lambda programming.
- Experience solving realworld problems in complex, regulated environments.
