Job Description: Assistant Vice President (AVP) - AI Engineering & Solutions

Location: Bengaluru

The Vision

We are seeking an exceptional engineering leader to architect our AI strategy and drive end-to-end project execution, from frontend user interfaces to robust backend infrastructure and deployments. Sitting at the intersection of cutting-edge LLM research and full-stack engineering, you will build scalable, secure AI agents for our enterprise while simultaneously championing internal innovation-actively integrating AI tools into our daily workflows to drastically boost the performance, efficiency, and velocity of our engineering teams.

Core Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Project & Team Leadership

Total Ownership: Drive projects from experimental POCs to stable, enterprise-grade production software, managing both the technical lifecycle and the engineering personnel.

Team Growth & Efficiency: Mentor a cross-functional team of developers while actively identifying and implementing AI tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, automated code reviews, intelligent CI/CD) to supercharge team productivity and operational efficiency.

2. Engineering Leadership (Java, Node.js, Angular)

Full Stack Oversight: Architect and drive the development of high-concurrency, enterprise-grade backends utilizing Node.js.

Frontend Excellence: Oversee the creation of sleek, intuitive, and highly responsive user interfaces optimized for AI-driven experiences using Angular.

Security & Scalability: Ensure all applications and AI agents integrate seamlessly into enterprise workflows while adhering to strict data privacy, RBAC, and security protocols.

3. AI Strategy & Architecture

Bridge the Gap: Design the end-to-end architecture that connects sophisticated ML models to our Java/Node.js backend systems.

Orchestration & Data Strategy: Lead the implementation of advanced LLM/AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems utilizing Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus).

4. Strategic Mentorship & Stakeholder Management

Business Translation: Act as the technical translator, converting complex AI capabilities into clear business value and ROI for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

Backend Engineering

Deep, hands-on expertise in Node.js and Java for building robust microservices and API layers.

Frontend Engineering

Strong proficiency in building scalable user interfaces with Angular. AI / ML Ecosystem

Knowledge of LLM Orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex), RAG, and

Vector DBs. Experience in model fine-tuning, semantic chunking, and

evaluation.

Experience implementing AI-driven development tools to enhance team coding efficiency and output.

Qualifications

Experience: 7-10 years in software engineering, with strong, proven experience specifically in Node.js, and Angular. At least 3+ years focused on deploying AI/ML models into production.

Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical teams, managing the full product development lifecycle end-to-end, and improving team KPIs.

The "Edge": You possess the rare ability to think like a researcher when solving logic problems, a Product Manager when building user interfaces, and an agile coach when optimizing your team's workflow with AI.

Key Deliverables (First 6-12 Months)

Deploy a suite of scalable AI Agents that automate core enterprise workflows natively integrated with our Node.js/Java/Angular stack.

Standardize the company's RAG Architecture for consistent, hallucination-free knowledge retrieval.

Audit internal engineering workflows and deploy AI-assisted development tools to measurably increase team sprint velocity and code quality.
