Senior Consultant/Architect

Job Title: Sr. Architect/Consultant
Job Location: Bangalore, India. The resource needs to be based in Bangalore. Can WFH adhoc. But mainly from the office.

Roles & Responsibilities:
The focus should be on data migration to Everpure.
Looking for more senior architects.... The ones that are experts, coaches and mentors to others... Have wide and deep knowledge and experience... Perhaps more on the customer end with experience...
Preferably more than 15 years of storage migrations... Not just a storage admin or back up person...
And of those 15 years minimum 7 years as an architect..
I need an architect. A very senior one who knows how to piece together any migration. Block, file, and object storage. Not looking for just a good migration engineer.

Update from the client regarding Job Description on 29th April 2026 :
An architect/consultant that has worked in storage for 15+ years. Must have had previous storage vendor...
The would have experience from both presales and delivery parts of the business.

The will not only know and understand storage, but also networking, unix, applications, cloud, automation...
This is a person that knows alot.. Not necessarily deep knowledge in every area but very wide and broad.

The would typically present at company conferences (Technical focus), mainly focusing on how to migrate data, what are the risks, what are the issues, etc.

This person would be able to meet and present to customers in a consultative manner (Face to face)... Sell our products and services by understanding what the customers pain points are and selling a solution that resolves them. Looking at the bigger picture.
They would be leading projects worth multi millions of dollars...

What this role is not:
The are not a support engineer
They are not a migration engineer
They are not a remote deliver architect.

This is a major customer focused role... This is a major customer focused role...
This is someone who has designed and architected storage transformation projects.
This person would need to get up in front of a C level person and tell them how to migrate their data off their legacy environment onto Pure...

Update, 14th May: With a consultant architect level, you will see on a CV that they are working across many projects simultaneously. He did presales work at the same time led delivery projects, presented at customer conferences, etc... It's not mandatory to have Everpure/Pure Storage skills for this role.

Update, 25th May: I am looking for someone who works at the cold front with a customer. Someone who does work face-to-face...I am not looking for someone who works remotely as a presales architect.
