About The Job:

• Looking for a proactive and self-sufficient SAP Technical Consultant with strong experience in ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects.
• The candidate should be capable of understanding and addressing code-level differences between ECC and S/4, interpreting ETC/ATC outcomes, and supporting functional teams with remediation recommendations.
• This role requires someone who can work independently, take ownership, and bring continuous improvement ideas to the project.

Essential Job Functions:

• Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze Custom Code Migration (ATC/ETC) results and identify S/4HANA-impact areas.
• Understand key ECC-to-S/4 code changes (e.g., SELECT SINGLE without unique key SELECT UP TO 1 ROWS, binary search with proper sorting, obsolete table replacements, etc.).
• Identify non-supported tables, function modules, or obsolete constructs and propose S/4-compliant alternatives.
• Collaborate with functional teams to interpret findings and define technical remediation approaches.
• Support SPDD/SPAU activities and ensure all custom objects are aligned post-conversion.
• Review RICEF objects for compatibility and ensure clean migration readiness.
• Provide technical guidance, clear communication, and drive closure without repeated follow-ups.

Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:

• 6-10 years of SAP ABAP experience, with hands-on exposure to S/4HANA conversion projects.
• Strong understanding of typical ECC-to-S/4 code adaptation scenarios and why these changes are required.
• Experience with ATC setup, running checks, interpreting simplification items, and handling technical remediation.
• Knowledge of SPDD/SPAU adjustments and their impact on custom developments.
• Ability to explain technical findings to functional teams clearly and confidently.

• Familiarity with HANA-optimized coding, CDS Views, and modern ABAP syntax.
• Exposure to RAP, OData, or Fiori extensions.
• Basic knowledge of performance tuning on HANA DB.

• Self-driven & accountable takes complete ownership of assigned areas, drives progress without constant follow-up.
• Proactive contributor identifies potential improvement or risk areas and brings them to attention early.
• Collaborative communicator works seamlessly with functional and cross teams.
• Quality-focused ensures every deliverable aligns with SAP S/4HANA best practices.
