This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of a modern, server-side rendered web application built with Next.js and React. You will work in a collaborative engineering environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and performance-driven frontend features. The position involves close coordination with senior engineers, technical leads, backend developers, and product stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and user experience. You will be responsible for building dynamic, content-driven interfaces powered by APIs and a headless CMS. With a strong focus on clean architecture and maintainable code, you will help improve application performance and stability. This is a contract-based opportunity ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on development in fast-paced, delivery-focused teams.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain features in a Next.js (SSR) and React-based web application.
  • Integrate and manage content-driven pages using a headless CMS (Sanity preferred).
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow and rendering.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and well-tested TypeScript code aligned with engineering standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Support performance optimization efforts and assist in debugging and resolving frontend issues.
  • Work under the guidance of senior engineers and technical leads to deliver high-quality frontend solutions.

Requirements:

  • Up to 4 years of professional experience in frontend development.
  • Strong proficiency in React and Next.js, including server-side rendering (SSR) concepts.
  • Solid working knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript development practices.
  • Experience consuming REST/GraphQL APIs and rendering dynamic, data-driven interfaces.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend tooling, version control systems (Git), and build pipelines.
  • Understanding of clean coding practices, reusable components, and scalable frontend architecture.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established engineering standards and patterns.
  • Nice to have: experience with Sanity or other headless CMS platforms.
  • Nice to have: exposure to frontend performance optimization and profiling techniques.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with cloud-hosted environments and deployment workflows.
