Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Engage with IT professionals to understand their career history, skills, accomplishments, and job goals.
Resume Writing: Create clear, concise, and professional resumes that reflect the client's technical skills, work experience, and achievements in the IT industry.
Tailoring Resumes: Customize resumes for specific roles (e.g., Software Engineer, Network Administrator, IT Support, Data Analyst, etc.) to increase the chances of selection by ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and hiring managers.
Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the IT field to ensure resumes are current and relevant.
Keyword Optimization: Integrate industry-specific keywords, technical skills, certifications, and competencies into resumes to make them more searchable and aligned with job descriptions.
LinkedIn Profile Writing: Offer LinkedIn profile optimization services, ensuring clients' profiles are consistent with their resumes and visible to recruiters.
Cover Letters: Write tailored cover letters that complement resumes and align with the job role the client is targeting.
Portfolio Development: Assist clients in creating or improving their portfolios to highlight their technical projects, contributions, and achievements.
Client Communication: Provide regular updates, solicit feedback, and make revisions as needed to meet client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
Proofreading and Editing: Ensure that all written content is error-free, grammatically correct, and presented professionally.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a professional resume writer, preferably specializing in IT roles.
· Strong understanding of the IT industry, including knowledge of key technologies, software, and IT terminology.
· Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
· Familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and resume formatting to ensure maximum visibility.
