Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Security Firewall Engineer to manage, configure, and maintain firewall solutions to ensure the security of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise-grade firewall platforms and a strong understanding of network protocols, security policies, and threat prevention mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and manage firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA/Firepower).
Monitor firewall activity, identify anomalies, and implement rule changes as necessary.
Work closely with the security and network teams to design and enforce security architecture and policies.
Analyze firewall logs and generate reports for security incidents and performance tuning.
Perform periodic firewall audits, policy reviews, and risk assessments.
Collaborate with IT operations during incident response and remediation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and firewall technologies.

Required Skills:

Proficiency with one or more firewall platforms: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA/Firepower.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access control models.
Experience with SIEM tools and security incident response.
Familiarity with firewall rule management and optimization.
Knowledge of network segmentation, DMZ, and Zero Trust Architecture.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
