- Expert on the following areas - ESXi, NSX, vSAN, VCF, KVM, Neutron, CEPH, OpenStack, Physical Hosting, OS (Win, Lin)
- Expert knowledge on converged, hyperconverged Infrastructure, HPE, Dell blade Infrastructure
- Excellent understanding of IT architecture, concepts and solutions and broad foundational knowledge in DC domain
- Experience in Design and build of greenfield DC's
- Design and plan Server migrations-V2V, P2V, etc.,
- Hypervisor (VMware, HyperV and OVM), Compute (CISCO UCS, Dell EMC, HPE Synergy)
- Experience in configuring and analyzing detailed BOM of Cisco UCS, Dell & HPE Servers
- Excellent understanding of IT architecture, concepts and solutions and broad foundational knowledge in DC domain
- Hands-on experience on Cisco / Dell /HPE Blade servers is required
- Hands-on experience on Windows & Linux OS is required.
- Experience in configuring and analyzing detailed BOM for multi-vendor Server solutions
- Capability in understanding and evaluating multi-vendor product offerings
- Datacenter knowledge, PDU's, identify Power connectors types, racking stacking knowledge of hardware etc.
- Strong experience in Compute hardware sizing for virtualized environment to support production applications as well as VDI solutions.
- Up to date knowledge and expertise on OS & DB licensing policy for physical, virtual and Cloud environments
- Deep understanding of two or three virtualization platforms VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V & Red Hat RHEV
- Design and deploy server patching, license solutions
- Design and deploy DR solutions, VMware SRM, Veeam
