Core Java Developer- Mumbai
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Core Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building high-performance, scalable, and reliable server-side applications using Core Java. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from understanding business requirements to coding, testing, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java-based applications.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using Core Java.
Participate in software architecture discussions and provide technical solutions.
Implement and maintain multi-threaded and low-latency systems.
Debug and resolve technical issues and defects in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements.
Write and maintain technical documentation for code and design.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed.
Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4-7 years of hands-on experience in Core Java development.
Strong knowledge of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) principles.
Proficiency in Java SE (Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, I/O, etc.).
Experience with JDBC, serialization, and memory management.
Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and writing SQL queries.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Good understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with frameworks like Spring Core, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.
Exposure to RESTful API development and integration.
Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Unit testing and TDD experience using JUnit or TestNG.
