Talend Open Studio
Key Responsibilities:
ETL Development: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Talend Open Studio to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses, databases, or cloud environments.
Data Integration: Integrate data from disparate sources (e.g., databases, flat files, cloud services, and third-party applications) using Talend Open Studio components.
Data Mapping & Transformation: Define and implement data mapping, transformation, and data cleansing logic to ensure data quality and integrity across systems.
Talend Job Design: Create reusable Talend Jobs for automation of routine data processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
Performance Tuning: Optimize the performance of Talend jobs, balancing efficiency with large dataset processing, and troubleshoot any performance bottlenecks.
Data Migration: Assist in the migration of data across various systems, ensuring smooth data movement while adhering to business rules and maintaining data consistency.
Testing & Validation: Conduct unit testing, system testing, and integration testing of Talend jobs to ensure that data transformation and integration processes are functioning as expected.
Documentation: Prepare technical documentation for Talend jobs, workflows, data mappings, and integration processes to ensure clarity and ease of maintenance.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other technical teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions that meet client needs.
Troubleshooting: Provide post-implementation support for Talend solutions, addressing issues, fixing bugs, and ensuring the smooth operation of ETL jobs.
Upgrades & Maintenance: Assist in the upgrade and maintenance of Talend Open Studio, ensuring that the platform is up-to-date with the latest patches and features.
