Design, develop, test, and implement high-performance COBOL programs for batch and online applications.
Develop and maintain JCL, DB2, and VSAM-based applications on the IBM Mainframe platform.
Perform impact analysis, debugging, defect resolution, and performance tuning.
Analyze business requirements, write technical specifications, and convert them into program code.
Provide support for production issues, including root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
Participate in code reviews, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Work collaboratively with business analysts, QA, and operations teams for solution delivery.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all projects and enhancements.
Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and transformation efforts.
