Role Summary
We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to building world-class, high-performance, enterprise-grade solutions for DNV's products. The ideal candidate should embrace ethical values, transparency, and accountability, while being a quick learner who adapts to emerging technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise, a keen eye for quality, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated builds and deployments.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure resources including Azure SQL Database (Hyperscale), Blob Storage, and Active Directory / Entra ID.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep for provisioning and configuration.
- Collaborate on containerization strategies using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (future adoption).
- Configure and maintain monitoring and logging solutions such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspace, Application Insights, and Nlog.
- Apply DevSecOps practices to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance with encryption standards.
- Perform snapshot testing, point-in-time recovery, and reliability assessments to maintain system resilience.
- Work with development teams using Visual Studio Code and other tools to streamline workflows.
- Participate in Well-Architected Reliability Assessments with Microsoft to ensure system robustness.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure adequate test coverage and quality gates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering.
Required Skills & Experience
- Overall 6 to 10 years of DevOPS experience
- Experience in Version Control - Git, GitHub, CI/CD tools - Azure DevOps (primary), Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (nice to have).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (mandatory), Bicep, Ansible (nice to have).
- Experience in Monitoring & Logging: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics (mandatory); Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
- Familiarity with Security & Compliance tools and practices: DevSecOps etc.
- Experience in writing script (ideally Powershell)
- Working with Azure
- Collaboration tools: ADO
- Development Tools: Visual Studio/VS-Code
- Nice-to-Have Skills
- Docker Compose, KubeIT
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks (Pytest, Selenium, JMeter)
