Role Overview
We are hiring Production Support Engineers L1 for our DevOps/Operations team based in Mumbai. This role involves 24x7 production monitoring , application support, incident handling, and ensuring stability and continuity of the production systems.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on monitoring and support for our production applications and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should
- Relevant experience as mentioned above in Production Support & IT Operations management in the Payments/Banking industry.
- Have hands-on-experience in providing System monitoring and engineering support.
- Have strong experience in working on Linux based production environment.
- Be familiar with basic networking tools like Nagios, Jenkins etc.
- Knowledge of transaction & system monitoring, downtime analysis, Report generation, Ticket closures. Coordinate with internal and external teams.
- Have a basic understanding of scripting languages like Shell, Python and Bash.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for new technologies and ideas
- Good communication skills & time management
- Be proactive and plan for situations instead of reacting to them
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive
