Job Description – Marketplace Manager (Brand Side Experience Mandatory)\nPosition: Marketplace Manager\nDepartment: E-commerce / Marketplace\nLocation: Pune\nExperience: 2–3 Years\nIndustry Preference: Fashion / Jewellery / Lifestyle / Beauty / D2C Brands\n\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a highly driven Marketplace Manager who has hands-on experience working from the brand side and managing end-to-end marketplace business operations. The candidate should have strong exposure to platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa, Zepto, and other marketplaces.\nThe role requires ownership of business growth, category management, marketplace marketing, inventory planning, and cross-functional coordination to drive revenue and profitability.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManage end-to-end marketplace operations across multiple platforms.\nDrive sales growth, visibility, and profitability for marketplace business.\nPlan and execute marketplace marketing campaigns, visibility spends, and promotional activities.\nCoordinate with category managers and marketplace teams for growth opportunities.\nMonitor daily sales, ROAS, ROI, conversion, traffic, and category performance.\nHandle product listing optimization including content, images, keywords, pricing, and catalog hygiene.\nWork closely with supply chain and operations teams for inventory planning and replenishment.\nManage pricing strategy, promotions, discounts, and competitive benchmarking.\nAnalyze business reports and identify growth opportunities across channels.\nEnsure smooth order fulfillment, returns management, and seller performance metrics.\nCoordinate with internal teams including marketing, catalog, finance, and operations.\nDrive new category launches and marketplace expansion initiatives.\nMaintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers and partners.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n2+ years of experience in marketplace/e-commerce management from the brand side.\nStrong hands-on experience with platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa, Zepto, etc.\nGood understanding of marketplace commercials, commission structures, and marketing models.\nStrong analytical and business planning skills.\nExperience in handling large SKU catalogs and inventory planning.\nExcellent knowledge of marketplace dashboards, reports, and campaign management.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAdvanced Excel and reporting skills preferred.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.\n\nPreferred Background\nExperience in Fashion, Jewellery, Beauty, Lifestyle, or D2C brands.\nExposure to quick commerce platforms will be an added advantage.\nExperience in handling sales events and large-scale marketplace campaigns.\n\nKey Metrics/KPIs\nRevenue Growth\nROI/ROAS\nConversion Rate\nVisibility Performance\nInventory Fill Rate\nMarketplace Profitability\nNew Category Growth\nCampaign Performance
