Power BI Developer- Pune
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Create DAX queries, calculated columns, and measures to enhance data models.
Optimize existing reports for performance and usability.
Integrate data from various sources including SQL databases, Excel, cloud services, etc.
Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance policies.
Conduct data validation, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy.
Provide training and documentation to end-users and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
2+ years of hands-on experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and Power BI Service.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL, and data modeling.
Experience working with large datasets and optimizing Power BI performance.
Proficiency in SQL and data source connectivity.
Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics)
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
Power Platform experience (Power Apps, Power Automate)
