Role Descriptions: Service Now Developer

Desirable Skills:
Must-Have**
• All developers will hold the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification or a higher-level certification. Additional certifications are a plus.
• There is leeway for the vendor to 'bundle in' new developers that hold the certification.
• At least will have experience in the ITBM module (APM, PPM)
• At least 2 developers will have experience in the ITSM module (Change, Problem, Incident)
• At least that has hands on experience of Software Asset Management
• At least that has hands on experience of Security Operations
• We encourage the submission of developers that have multiple skills across the range of ServiceNow modules, specifically Security Operations, IT Operations Management, Software Asset Management and Business Continuity e.g. One developer may have experience in both ITSM and Security Operations.
• Hands on experience of the main ServiceNow components such as Business Rule, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI scripts, UI Actions, ACLs, Scheduled Jobs, workflows, UI Macros, UI Pages, Script Include, Glide Ajax, Jelly, Data Sources, Encryption, Transform Maps, Import Sets, Update Sets and Integration with web services.
• Experience and knowledge of the ServiceNow CMDB structure.
• Experience and knowledge of ServiceNow reporting, preferably including the use of Performance Analytics.
• Experience in the creation of custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Knowledge and experience of software development lifecycle
• Experience with the Agile methodology.
Good-to-Have
• Good to have Certification in system administrator.
• Good to have certification in ITSM.
