Chief Manager - Financial Reporting

Muthoot Fincorp Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional for the role of Chief Manager – Financial Reporting. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Ind AS, and timely preparation of financial statements for management and regulatory purposes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Ind AS and other applicable accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare and review standalone and consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders for financial reporting requirements.
• Review balance sheet schedules, reconciliations, and financial disclosures.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the organization.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data and reports.
• Support management in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls within the reporting function.
• Lead and mentor the financial reporting team to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, and financial reporting practices.
• Expertise in financial statement preparation and audit coordination.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel

Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory

Experience

• 10+ years of post-qualification experience in Financial Reporting, Direct & Indirect taxation,Accounting, or Finance functions, preferably in NBFC/BFSI sector.
