Job Role : Video Editor\n\nNavodaya Education Trust | Raichur, Karnataka\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to produce high-quality promotional, event, and social media video content that showcases the spirit of Navodaya Education Trust, from campus life and academic milestones to student success stories and brand campaigns.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n- Capture and create reel, human stories from campus life, students, and faculty\n- Set up lighting, audio, framing, and composition for both indoor and outdoor shoots\n- Edit cnotent into high retention, platform- first videos(instagram, Linkedln)\n- Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, background music, sound effects, and branding elements\n- Create short-form content optimized for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms\n- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and academic teams to understand creative briefs and timelines\n- Maintain consistency in tone, style, and quality as per NET brand guidelines\n- Organize, archive, and back up all video assets and project files\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\n- Atleast 2 to 3 years of experience in videography and video editing required.(Freshers with sound knowledge and relevant skills may also apply.)\n- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or Final Cut Pro\n- Solid knowledge of camera operation, lighting setups, audio recording, and basic motion graphics\n- Creative eye for storytelling, composition, pacing, and visual flow\n- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to fast-changing requirements\n- Excellent attention to detail and understanding of social media video trends & formats\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n- Diploma / Degree in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Visual Arts, or related field\n- Experience in in-house / corporate / educational video production\n- Basic photography skills (still shots, event coverage)\n- Familiarity with color correction, sound design, and motion graphics
