Job Description

Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in addiction recovery and mental health care?

We are looking for a Rehabilitation Nurse to join our residential treatment team at Samarpan. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality nursing care in detoxification and rehabilitation programs.


Role Overview

You will be responsible for implementing and supervising nursing services in medical detox and residential programs, working closely with psychiatrists, medical officers, and therapists to support patient recovery journeys.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications, treatments, and clinical procedures
  • Conduct patient assessments, screenings, and admission processes
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (psychiatrists, therapists, physicians)
  • Manage detox admissions including testing and medication inventory
  • Ensure infection control, safety standards, and emergency preparedness
  • Support patient engagement and provide health education
  • Liaise with hospitals, labs, and external healthcare professionals


Qualifications & Skills

  • BSc Nursing / GNM
  • 2+ years of work experience, preference for candidates with psychiatry nursing experience
  • Fluent English communication (mandatory)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and empathy
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Interest in mental health, addiction recovery, and rehabilitation
