Roles and Responsibilities:\nExtracting relevant information from patient records\nExamining documents for missing information\nAssigning CPT, HCPCS, ICD to9/ICD10CM, APC, DRG and ASA codes\nEnsuring documents are grammatically correct and free from typing errors\nPerforming chart audits\nInforming supervisor of issues with equipment and computer program\nEnsuring compliance with medical coding policies and guidelines\nEnsuring that codes tally with doctors diagnosis\nBe updated about new coding rules as codes change from time to time\nCollecting and distributing coding related information and billing issues\nRequired Expertise & Qualification:\nLife Science graduation or any equivalent graduation with Anatomy/Physiology as\nmain subjects\n2 to 7 years of work experience as a medical coder\nAny one of the following coding certifications CCS from AHIMA\nProficient computer skills\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written\nStrong people skills & Outstanding organizational skills\nAbility to maintain the confidentiality of information\n\nIf Interested in the above Position, Please forward your Updated CV.\nEmail: [email protected]\nMobile: 7907474780
