Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Head to lead the finance function of the organization and drive financial excellence, governance, profitability, and business growth. The role requires strong expertise in financial planning, commercial finance, treasury, compliance, and business partnering, along with exposure to international business operations and financial practices.

The ideal candidate should have a strong strategic mindset, leadership capability, and experience in managing complex financial environments while supporting business expansion and operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) – Mandatory.
• Minimum 20+ years of relevant experience, with significant exposure in senior finance leadership roles.
• Strong experience in strategic finance, commercial finance, treasury, taxation, compliance, and financial planning.
• International exposure - handling companies outside India , handling overseas business transactions or financial coordination.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering/industrial setup will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Business Partnering

• Drive financial strategy aligned with organizational growth and business objectives.
• Partner with senior leadership in strategic decision-making, business planning, and profitability enhancement.
• Support business expansion, investments, and long-term financial planning.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and MIS reporting processes.
• Monitor key financial metrics, profitability, cash flow, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Provide analytical insights to improve business performance and decision-making.

Commercial Finance & Operations

• Manage commercial finance activities including contracts, pricing, procurement finance, and working capital management.
• Evaluate financial feasibility of projects, investments, and new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, supply chain, and business teams to improve margins and efficiency.

International Exposure

• Exposure to international business transactions, overseas clients/vendors, forex management, import-export finance, or multi-country financial coordination.
• Understanding of international financial practices, taxation, compliance, and reporting standards will be preferred.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure strong internal controls, statutory compliance, taxation, audits, and financial governance.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
• Drive risk management and compliance frameworks across finance operations.

Treasury & Fund Management

• Oversee treasury operations, cash flow planning, banking relationships, and fund management.
• Ensure effective utilization of financial resources and working capital optimization.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounts teams.
• Build a high-performance culture with strong financial discipline and process improvement.
