Project Management Specialist

Experience Range -15-20 Years

Qualification- BE (Mechanical)/ Electrical / Equivalent

Role Description

1. Ensuring achieving Revenue and GVA to meet ABP plans .

2. Project Planning: Preparing L1 to L5 plans in software tools with milestone targets. Project scheduling and controlling: Tracking engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistic and site progress.

3. Commercial activity: Initiate and track bank Guarantees and letter of credits, tax and duty on various deliverables

4. Knowledge of In co Terms

5. Expertise in handling contract and legal terms and Escalation , Change order management and defend LD

6.Invoicing:Preparing invoicing plans, controlling physical, accounting Invoicing, CIP & WIP Profitability

7. Controlling CTC and OTD with increased AGVA than bid GVA

8. Cash Flow control: Planning project cash flow, ensuring least exposure based on contract Collections

9. AR collection and tracking

10. Claim Management: Forecasting, evaluating, preparing, presenting, negotiating and converting the claims to contract

11. Mentoring and grooming reporting engineers

12. Contract Review: Reviewing contracts, identifying risks and opportunities and analysis for mitigation of same.

Technical Competencies

1. Basic Fabrication : Static equipment, Heat Exchangers, Boilers, Columns, reactors, structures,tanks,

Structural fabrication, Piping fabrication and installation . Modular projects execution experience will be added advantage.

2. MOCs: Standard grades of Carbon steel and Austenitic steel. Special grades is added advantage.

3. Codes: ASME Sec-VIII Div 1 minimum, IBR,CCOE, PED, EN & IS etc are added advantage.

4. Expertise in Primavera tools

5. Knowledge of productivity norms - Industry Standard

Skills:

1. Transparent and impactful communication

2. Manufacturing process knowledge in fabrication workshop.

3. Surface treatment application and testing process knowledge

4. Export & Import rules and regulations, Licenses, Incoterms, Insurance and accident claims.

5. Capital equipment rental suppliers and cost knowledge

6. Excellent Negotiator

7. Fabrication and machining sub vendor resourcefulness especially forming , Ts drilling and rolling.

8. Sub contractors connect with large and medium scale fabricators.

9. Site fabrication and installationn activities.

10. Use of Primavera P6 software for monitoring of projects. Shall be well conversant with Ms Projects. PMP certification will be added advantage .
