TCS is looking for an experienced SAP IS-U Functional Consultant with expertise in Billing/Invoicing to support utilities clients.

About the Role

The consultant will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP IS-U billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Functional Expertise
• Work on SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing (BI) module
• Configure:
• Rate categories & rate determination
• Billing schemas & schemas customization
• Price facts & operand configuration
• Handle:
• Meter reading integration with billing
• Billing simulation and execution
• Invoice processing and print forms
• Business Process Handling
• Understand utility business processes:
• Electricity / Gas / Water billing cycles
• Handle:
• Move-in / Move-out scenarios
• Periodic billing & special billing
• Budget billing / average consumption billing
• Manage exceptions and billing errors
• Implementation & Support
• Participate in:
• Requirement gathering workshops
• Solution design & blueprinting
• Perform:
• Functional configuration (SPRO settings)
• Unit testing & integration testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Provide production support & issue resolution
• Integration Knowledge
• Knowledge of integration with:
• SAP FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable)
• Device Management (DM)
• CRM (optional but preferred)
• Exposure to:
• IDOCs / interfaces
• Data migration tools (LSMW, EMIGALL)
• Documentation
• Prepare:
• Functional specifications (FS)
• Configuration documents
• Test cases & training materials
