We are now looking for passionate and highly capable Power Electronics Engineers who can help us create the next generation of intelligent, highly reliable, world-class Plasma Power Sources that set new benchmarks in performance, diagnostics, efficiency, and reliability.

Position:Power Electronics Engineer – R&D / Product Development
Location:Mumbai / Vasai-Virar, Maharashtra
Key Responsibilities:- Design and improve high-power switching systems using IGBT, MOSFET and SiC technologies
- Work on Plasma Cutting Power Sources, high-frequency inverter systems and chopper topologies
- Design and optimize:
- High-current DC power supplies
- Inverter and chopper circuits
- Soft-switching and resonant topologies
- Magnetic components (transformers, inductors)
- Gate drive circuits and protection systems
- Improve machine reliability under harsh industrial conditions:
- High ambient temperature
- Dust
- Voltage fluctuations
- Continuous-duty operation
- Develop advanced protection systems:
- Over-current
- Arc abnormalities
- Thermal protection
- Predictive fault diagnostics
- Work on embedded controls and digital intelligence:
- DSP / Microcontrollers
- Closed-loop control
- PWM systems
- Sensor integration
- Participate in:
- Testing
- Failure analysis
- Root-cause investigation
- Product validation
- Work towards creating self-diagnostic and intelligent power systems with IoT capability
- Collaborate with mechanical, software and field service teams
Experience in one or more of the following:
'14; High-frequency power converters
'14; IGBT/SiC based systems
'14; PWM control techniques
'14; Current control systems
'14; Analog and digital control
'14; Thermal management systems
'14; EMI / EMC reduction techniques
'14; Industrial electronics reliability engineering
'14; Simulation tools:
- MATLAB
- LTSpice
- PSIM
- PLECS
- Altium
- OrCAD
Additional preference:
- Experience in Welding/Plasma/Laser power sources
- Exposure to high-current industrial systems (100–500 A+)
- Experience in harsh industrial environment design
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance and IoT systems
Senior Engineers: 8–15 years
Lead development and architecture of future products
Mid-Level Engineers: 4–8 years
Own subsystem design and testing
Young Innovators / Fresh Talent: 1–3 years
Strong fundamentals and passion for power electronics

Compensation (Suggested)For Mumbai/Vasai region and specialized R&D roles:
1–3 Years: ₹6–10 LPA
4–8 Years: ₹10–18 LPA
8–15 Years: ₹18–35+ LPA
