Warehouse Deputy Manager
Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for maintaining all store records - inward, outward, consumption, reconciliation, inventory etc.
Key Responsibilities:
%CF; Lead and manage the warehouse team, providing guidance and performance evaluations
%CF; Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping
%CF; Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
%CF; Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular audits and reconciliations
%CF; Manage stock control processes, including FIFO/LIFO methods
%CF; Assist in developing and managing the warehouse budget
%CF; Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
%CF; Preparation of stock statements and inventory.
%CF; Implementation of stores procedures
%CF; Management of stacking yards, upkeep of shuttering material
%CF; Maintaining sufficient stock levels and raising PR when stock levels fall
%CF; Monthly stock checking - both physical and on books
%CF; Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile them with purchase orders.
%CF; Track damages and discrepancies on orders received.
%CF; Check the material for quantity as well as the quality
%CF; Check the documents sent by business units along with the consignment
%CF; Prepare GRN proper storage of material
%CF; Prepare the MIS report etc.

Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Skills & Experience:
%CF; 10+ experience in warehouse management or logistics.
%CF; Proficient in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
%CF; Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
