Job Role : Video Editor\nNavodaya Education Trust | Raichur, Karnataka\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to produce high-quality promotional, event, and social media video content that showcases the spirit of Navodaya Education Trust, from campus life and academic milestones to student success stories and brand campaigns.\nKey Responsibilities\nCapture and create reel, human stories from campus life, students, and faculty\nSet up lighting, audio, framing, and composition for both indoor and outdoor shoots\nEdit cnotent into high retention, platform- first videos(instagram, Linkedln)\nAdd transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, background music, sound effects, and branding elements\nCreate short-form content optimized for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms\nCollaborate with marketing, communications, and academic teams to understand creative briefs and timelines\nMaintain consistency in tone, style, and quality as per NET brand guidelines\nOrganize, archive, and back up all video assets and project files\nRequired Skills & Experience\nAtleast 2 to 3 years of experience in videography and video editing required.(Freshers with sound knowledge and relevant skills may also apply.)\nStrong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro , After Effects , and/or Final Cut Pro\nSolid knowledge of camera operation, lighting setups, audio recording, and basic motion graphics\nCreative eye for storytelling, composition, pacing, and visual flow\nAbility to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to fast-changing requirements\nExcellent attention to detail and understanding of social media video trends & formats\nPreferred Qualifications\nDiploma / Degree in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Visual Arts, or related field\nExperience in in-house / corporate / educational video production\nBasic photography skills (still shots, event coverage)\nFamiliarity with color correction, sound design, and motion graphics
