About The Job:
- Our client is one of logistics company in US providing services in united state, Client are getting into contract with Client to manage Public Cloud Operations. Our client Public cloud team ensures reliable and secure operation of public cloud platforms.
- Our Public Cloud Manage services help streamline operations, improve productivity and strengthen technology to help our customers stay competitive and improve customer satisfaction
- Support and maintain OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) IaaS infrastructure including Compute instances, Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN), networking, storage, security, and load balancing services.
- Assist in administering and maintaining GCP infrastructure and platform services.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure (OCI & GCP) for health, performance, availability, and capacity, and escalate issues as required.
- Perform initial troubleshooting of production incidents in OCI environments and assist in root cause analysis.
- Execute automation scripts for provisioning, deployment, patching, and routine operational tasks across OCI and GCP.
- Support high availability, backup, and disaster recovery activities in OCI as per defined procedures.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining OCI security policies, IAM controls, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams to resolve cloud operational issues.
- Monitor and report on cloud resource utilization and assist in cost optimization efforts across OCI and GCP.
- Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and update technical records.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Administer IaaS and PaaS services including compute, networking, storage, databases and containers
- Experience :- 8+ Year of relevant experience in Cloud Infra
- Shift Timing :– 24 * 7 Rotational Shift
- Hands on experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) & OCI IaaS services
- Hands on experience with GCP / GKE & related PaaS services & cloud-native architecture
- Must have Hands on experience with Multi-Cloud Infrastructure eco-system
- Should have excellent communication (written & verbal) for client communication.
- Hands-on experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) IaaS services:
- Compute Instances, Virtual Cloud Network (VCN) infrastructure, and Load Balancers
- OCI Object Storage, Block Volumes, and Security Lists / Network Security Groups (NSGs)
- Hands-on experience with GCP services:
- Computer Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, GKE, IAM
- Exposure to GCP PaaS services and cloud-native architectures
- VPN Gateway and basic connectivity services (VCN Peering, FastConnect – basic understanding)
- OCI Monitoring, Logging, Backup, and Disaster Recovery operations (OCI Disaster Recovery)
- Familiarity with container platforms like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience using monitoring and incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for ticket handling and issue tracking.
- Working knowledge of OCI IaaS environments, including:
- Understanding of multi-tier infrastructure concepts
- Basic knowledge of High Availability (Availability Domains/Fault Domains) and Disaster Recovery (DR) practices
- Awareness of network segmentation using VCNs, subnets, and security controls (Security Lists, NSGs)
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud connectivity setups
- Understanding of scalability and fault-tolerant systems in OCI Cloud.
- OCI and/or GCP cloud certifications preferred
- Experience working in enterprise or global cloud operations environments
- Understanding of ITIL processes and operational best practices
- Good communication and stakeholder management Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- The shift timings can be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, resources may have to do overtime and work on weekend’s basis business requirement.
