Solution Architect(Servicenow)

Role Summary
We are seeking a senior ServiceNow Technical Architect aligned to ServiceNow CTA / CMA architecture expectations, with strong Oil & Gas domain experience. The role requires ownership of end-to-end architecture, governance, and client-facing delivery for large, complex, multi-instance ServiceNow programs. The candidate should have 10+ years of deep ServiceNow experience and demonstrate mastery across platform architecture, integrations, data models, security, and cross-functional design.
Overall Experience
• 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience
• 4+ years performing Technical Architect responsibilities
• Experience leading enterprise-scale and multi-vendor ServiceNow implementations
• Strong Oil & Gas domain experience across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations
CTA / CMA Architecture Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end ServiceNow architecture in line with CTA / CMA design principles
• Define architecture blueprint covering data, integrations, security, scalability, and extensibility
• Apply ServiceNow Well-Architected Framework and best practices
• Ensure adherence to CSDM, CMDB health, and platform governance standards
• Review and approve technical designs, integrations, and customizations
• Drive reusability, upgrade-safe configurations, and minimal custom code
• Act as the final authority for technical decisions and risk mitigation
Client-Facing & Consulting Responsibilities
• Act as primary technical advisor for client stakeholders and leadership
• Translate business outcomes into ServiceNow architecture and roadmaps
• Lead client workshops, architecture boards, and steering committees
• Present solution architecture, value realization, and transformation metrics
• Handle client escalations, performance concerns, and architectural risks
• Support pre-sales activities including solutioning, estimations, and RFPs
• Build long-term trusted-advisor relationships with Oil & Gas clients

• Ability to align ServiceNow workflows to Oil & Gas regulatory and compliance needs
• Knowledge of plant operations and integration with OT/IT systems
Integration, Data & Platform Architecture
• IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, event and data integrations
• CMDB architecture, CSDM alignment, data normalization, reconciliation
• Platform security design (ACLs, roles, data segregation)
• Performance, scalability, and multi-instance strategy
Governance & Platform Leadership
• Define and enforce platform governance and architectural guardrails
• Lead design reviews, code quality checks, and release governance
• Guide teams on upgrade strategy, technical debt management, and roadmap planning
• Mentor architects and senior developers toward CTA readiness
Certifications (Strongly Preferred)
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or CTA-in-progress
• ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA)
• Multiple CIS certifications across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, ITAM, or Platform
