We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven City Sales Manager to lead business growth initiatives within a designated city or region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales and SaaS sales, with a proven ability to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and drive revenue growth. As a City Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and expanding the company's customer base. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and product teams, to ensure seamless customer acquisition and retention.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by acquiring new business customers and expanding existing accounts within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute city-level sales plans aligned with organizational goals and growth targets.
- Identify, qualify, and engage prospective clients through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and consultative sales discussions with key decision-makers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and opportunity creation to negotiation and deal closure.
- Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand business challenges and position suitable SaaS solutions.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute local campaigns, events, and lead-generation initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and contribute to account retention and upselling initiatives.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Required Skills
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in B2B Sales with the ability to engage business stakeholders across industries.
- Proven track record in SaaS Sales, including selling subscription-based software products or technology solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and prioritize effectively.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales tracking tools.
- Data-driven approach to sales planning and pipeline management.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in Enterprise Sales, including managing large accounts and engaging with senior decision-makers such as CXOs, Directors, and Heads of Departments.
- Exposure to high-value deal negotiations and long sales cycles.
- Experience in technology, software, fintech, HRTech, EdTech, or related SaaS domains.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification is an added advantage.
- 2-13 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or related customer-facing roles.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
