We are looking for a manufacturing finance expert to oversee cost accounting processes, month-end closing, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. This position demands excellent analytical abilities, proficiency with ERP systems, and capability to communicate financial insights effectively to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Accounting & Month-End Close:

  • Oversee month-end activities related to inventory, PPV, and cost accounting, including reconciliations, reclassifications, revaluations, and posting of associated journal entries.
  • Generate and evaluate operational reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, covering areas such as inventory, PPV, OPEX, cost variances, actual rates, and expense monitoring.
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting efforts, encompassing SOC files, purchase forecasts, ICO pricing, revenue and expense estimates, and CAPEX updates.
  • Prepare and manage provisions, including E&O and NRV, alongside accounting for scrap, rework, and disposals.
  • Support compliance, audit, and internal control initiatives, including USGAAP SOX assessments related to inventory and revenue accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address ICO discrepancies, support supply chain reporting, and ensure timely report uploads and dissemination.

Forecasting & Budgeting:

  • Develop quarterly and annual manufacturing forecasts covering revenue, material costs, labor, VOH, FOH, PPV, inventory, and associated plant expenses.
  • Create and maintain forecast files that compare the latest forecasts against previous forecasts, budgets, and prior year figures for FYR and YTG reporting.
  • Prepare ICO purchase and PPV forecasts for plants and assist in external purchase forecasting based on Flat BOM and standard cost assumptions.
  • Compose bridge explanations and variance analyses for management, emphasizing changes relative to budgets, earlier forecasts, and prior year results.
  • Examine major planning factors such as PPV, volume, mix, FX, freight, cash discounts, material consumption, and variable costs.

Qualifications:

  • CMA, CA, or an equivalent professional certification within the manufacturing sector.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing finance or plant controlling, including a minimum of 3 years dedicated to forecasting and budgeting.
  • Deep knowledge of standard costing, PPV, and inventory valuation.
  • Practical experience preparing and delivering forecast and budget presentations to plant or regional management teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; familiarity with ERP and costing systems such as Plex or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders outside the finance function.
