Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Research Engineer with strong expertise in C# and robotic software development. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of robotics systems, experience deploying software via Azure and cloud platforms, and a passion for building high-quality solutions in fast-paced environments. RAPID/KAREL programming is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Windows services and applications
Build and support SDKs for ABB robots and other robotic platforms
Implement automated testing (unit, regression, stress) and ensure software quality
Experience with cloud-based deployment using Microsoft Azure, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features and lead code reviews and mentor junior developers
Manage DevOps workflows and enforce source control best practices
Estimate timelines and communicate risks and progress effectively
Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related engineering field
1-5 years of commercial software development experience
Strong proficiency and experience with WPF, ASP.Net/.Net Core, and Agile methodologies
Hands-on experience with Azure and cloud-based deployment
Familiarity with robotics software and ABB robot SDKs
Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and TDD
Experience with 3D graphics engines
Strong mathematical and geometry skills
