We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to join our Business intelligence and operations team. The ETL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions that support our organization's data needs. The ideal candidate should have experience in data warehousing, ETL development, maintenance of ETL processes and data pipelines and a strong understanding of database systems. The ideal candidate will be very proficient in ETL tools and
technologies, also be able to share knowledge and experiences with other leaders and peers in the ETL development team.
Additionally, you should have experience working with cloud-based data warehousing platforms, such as AWS Redshift, and be proficient in SQL and Python.
In addition to technical qualifications, the successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment As well as ability to effectively communicate with the business, understand requirements and drive the projects thru finish line.
Responsibilities
%CF; Design, develop, test, and implement data integration solutions using ETL tools and techniques
%CF; Very strong understanding of Data warehouses, DW design best practices and DW population.
%CF; Collaborate with data analysts, data architects and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions.
%CF; Create and maintain ETL documentation including data mappings, data dictionaries, and ETL workflows
%CF; Troubleshoot ETL issues and performance tune ETL jobs as needed
%CF; Monitor and maintain the ETL system to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy
%CF; Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of ETL jobs
%CF; Lead Junior ETL Developers on complex projects.
Qualifications
%CF; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
%CF; 5+ years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing
%CF; Deep AWS Redshift knowledge and experience required for this position. This includes data population and transformation best practices, orchestration, security, and data governance.
%CF; Strong knowledge of ETL tools and technologies, such as SSIS, AWS Glue or Informatica.
%CF; Proficient in SQL and database technologies, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
%CF; Understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data warehousing concepts
%CF; Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java is a big plus.
%CF; Working experience and strong knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
%CF; Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
%CF; Strong communication abilities are essential for this role, as it involves frequent interactions with the business team and demands a proficient grasp of business discussions, along with the capability to effectively convey concepts in return.
