Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
•Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance data
pipelines and data integration solutions.
•Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing systems using modern
data engineering frameworks and tools.
•Work on data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and establish data
engineering best practices.
•Develop scalable data workflows and optimize data processing performance and
reliability.
•Implement and manage distributed data processing solutions using technologies
such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, and Python.
•Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipelines to ensure high data availability,
consistency, and operational reliability.
•Collaborate with analytics, BI, AI/ML, and business teams to support reporting,
insights, and advanced data-driven initiatives.
•Work with cloud-based data platforms and modern data ecosystem tools to enable
scalable enterprise data architecture.
•Contribute to technical architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering
best practices.
•Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers in the case of Lead Data
Engineer responsibilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
•Strong experience in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and
associated best practices.
•Hands-on experience in designing and building scalable and efficient data
processing systems.
•Strong expertise in:
•Apache Spark
•Apache Airflow
•Apache Flink
•Apache Kafka
•Python
•Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
•Experience or familiarity with ClickHouse database.
•Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially BigQuery.
•Experience working with BI and visualization tools such as:
•Apache Superset
•Looker
•Tableau
•Exposure to modern data platforms and tools such as Databricks and Snowflake.
•Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing production-grade data
pipelines.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
