Job Description
We are looking for a Murex Integration & Reporting Developer to design, develop, and support Murex-based integrations and
Datamart reporting solutions for a leading banking client.
The role involves working on end-to-end data flow, including integration with external systems, data extraction, and
reporting for trading, risk, and finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Murex Integration
• Design and develop integration solutions between Murex and external systems
• Work on MxML workflows, APIs, and file-based integrations
• Build and maintain interface layers for data exchange (inbound/outbound)
• Handle real-time and batch-based integrations
• Debug and resolve integration failures, data mismatches, and reconciliation issues
• Murex Datamart Reporting
o Develop and maintain Murex Datamart reports:
o Trade reporting
o P&L reports
o Risk & position reports
o Build and manage:
o Dynamic tables
o Report tables
o Table feeders
o Batches of extraction
o Optimize report performance and batch runtimes
• Data Processing & ETL:
o Design ETL workflows within Murex Datamart

o Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Production Support & Monitoring
o Provide L2/L3 support for Murex integration and reporting issues
o Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and resolution
o Monitor batch jobs and ensure SLA adherence
• Handle incident management and outage coordination
• Collaboration and Communication:
o Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflows.
o Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
o Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for production and development environments.
Qualifications
• Education and Experience:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
o 3 to 5 and 5 to 8 years of experience.
• Core Murex Skills:
o Strong experience in:
o Murex Datamart Reporting
o Table feeders, batches, processing scripts
o Experience with:
o MxML Exchange / Integration layer
o Murex workflows
• Technical Skills
o Strong SQL / PL-SQL
o Experience with Stored procedures, functions, triggers
o Unix/Linux scripting
o File-based integrations (XML, CSV)
o API integrations (REST/SOAP – good to have)
• Domain Knowledge (Important)
o Trade lifecycle
o Financial instruments (FX, derivatives, commodities preferred)
o P&L and risk concepts
